New in RigDig: Locations Tab Adds Branch and Terminal Location Intelligence

Executive Summary

The RigDig Locations Data Enhancement, launched in Spring 2026, introduces a new Locations tab within Prospect Profiles that expands fleet intelligence beyond USDOT headquarters data. This enhancement displays additional branch locations, terminal locations, and corporate parent insights tied to a trucking fleet, providing a more complete view of operational footprint. Designed for truck dealers, aftermarket parts teams, and fleet-focused service providers, the new Locations tab centralizes branch-level visibility inside RigDig, improving territory management, fleet prospecting, and account sizing without requiring external research tools. The feature is available as a subscription add-on to current and new RigDig customers.

Feature Overview

Now available in Spring 2026, the new Locations tab expands RigDig Prospect Profiles beyond USDOT headquarters data to include additional branch locations, terminal locations, and corporate parent insights tied to a trucking fleet.

For the first time, you can see a fleet’s broader operational footprint directly within the Prospect Profile. This enhanced location intelligence helps you evaluate territory coverage, identify branch-level revenue opportunities, size accounts more accurately, and plan outreach with a clearer understanding of where a fleet actually operates, all without leaving the RigDig platform.

What Problem Does the New Locations Tab Solve?

Most fleet intelligence tools rely heavily on USDOT headquarters data. While useful, headquarters information alone does not reflect where a trucking fleet actually operates.

Many fleets maintain:

  • Multiple terminals
  • Maintenance facilities
  • Truck yards
  • Warehouses
  • Regional branch offices

Without branch-level visibility, sales teams risk:

  • Calling the wrong location
  • Misaligning territory ownership
  • Underestimating account scale
  • Missing branch-level purchasing decisions

The new RigDig Locations enhancement addresses this gap by centralizing branch and corporate parent data inside the Prospect Profile.

What’s Available in the new Locations Tab?

The new Locations tab includes three core capabilities designed for scannability and fast decision-making.

1. Location Summary and CorporateParent Information

At the top of the new Locations tab, RigDig displays:

  • Parent company name
  • Parent company address
  • Parent company SIC
  • Total number of related locations

This provides immediate context around ownership structure and fleet scale.

Corporate parent mapping helps users understand how related entities connect across multiple USDOT numbers or operating facilities.

2. InteractiveLocation Map View

The Location Map visualizes branch and terminal locations on an interactive map inside RigDig.

  • Locations appear as pins or clusters when zoomed out
  • Zoom in to see geographic concentration of branch locations
  • Use satellite view to identify types of equipment used at individual facilities
  • Click individual location pins to view company name, address, and phone
  • Evaluate facility type and geographic concentration

This view helps you quickly understand where a fleet operates across regions and territories.

3. Location List View

The Location List provides a structured table of branch locations, including:

  • Company name
  • Phone number
  • City
  • State
  • Building type

Use the Action dropdown to expand a row and view:

  • Full address
  • Employee count
  • Location description, such as Branch or Headquarters
  • Building area, in square feet

Who This Enhancement Is Built For

The Locations tab is designed for professionals who rely on accurate fleet data to drive revenue, including:

  • Truck dealers managing geographic territories
  • Aftermarket parts sales teams
  • Fleet-focused service providers
  • Fuel card and telematics providers
  • Ancillary transportation vendors
  • Sales leaders overseeing territory alignment

If your team evaluates trucking fleet accounts, branch location visibility improves clarity and decision-making.

How This Helps Fleet Prospecting and Territory Management

Many trucking fleets operate from multiple yards, terminals, and facilities that are not reflected in USDOT headquarters data alone. That can lead to missed opportunities and time-consuming research.

With branch-level intelligence inside RigDig, you can:

  • Validate territory ownership by confirming which branch locations fall inside your coverage
  • Improve parts and service prospecting by targeting facilities where purchasing decisions often occur
  • Size the fleet opportunity more accurately by understanding operational footprint, not just headquarters
  • Confirm locations discovered in the field when you see truck yards or terminals not shown in HQ-only views
  • Reduce manual research by providing branch location data inside RigDig Prospect Profiles

Instead of evaluating fleets based solely on headquarters-based information, users gain a broader operational perspective.

How RigDig Differs From Generic Business Databases

Unlike general business databases that focus on broad company information, RigDig combines:

  • Fleet intelligence
  • USDOT data
  • Corporate parent mapping
  • Branch-level operational visibility

All inside the Prospect Profile.

This allows transportation-focused sales teams to evaluate fleets within the context of site-specific data, not just generic corporate records.

Data Source and Coverage

RigDig acquires branch and corporate parent data from an active nationwide business registry dataset covering registered operating businesses in the United States.

Key data attributes include:

  • Legal entity structure
  • Parent company relationships
  • Branch-level facility records

The dataset is updated monthly and incorporated through RigDig’s data stewardship and matching process to maintain accuracy and consistency.

What Current Users Will See inside RigDig

All users will see a new Locations tab on Prospect Profiles. If your subscription does not yet include access to this enhancement:

  • You will still see the Locations tab within the Prospect Profile
  • If you click on the Locations tab, you will see the Location Summary at the top of the screen.
  • The Location Map and Location List will be masked, and a black text box will be placed over top of the map or table. This text box contains information on how to contact your account manager to add this feature to your subscription.

How to Add the Locations Enhancement

The RigDig Locations tab is available as a subscription add-on.

The external business registry dataset is updated monthly. As a result, RigDig location data will also be updated monthly.

Corporate parent data identifies related business entities and parent companies tied to a fleet, helping users understand ownership structure and total operational footprint.

Parent Company refers to the immediate parent entity within the corporate hierarchy of the fleet being viewed.

RigDig acquires branch and corporate parent data from an active business registry dataset covering registered operating businesses in the United States.

Locations are unique by legal entity, not by physical address. Multiple entities may legally operate from the same location.

We do not merge M&As until they are legally finalized. Entities may appear within each other’s corporate parent, but the actual merge can take months after the announcement due to legal documentation requirements.

If your subscription does not include this enhancement, the map and list views will be masked and a prompt will guide you to request access.
