Executive Summary:
This article explains why the future of business intelligence is integrated. It outlines the problem of fragmented ecosystems and data silos, then introduces the Fusable Data Core as a unified, governed foundation that delivers decision-ready insight. Readers will see how the same trusted data reaches users through three delivery paths, the Fusable Platform, the Fusable Salesforce App, and the Fusable API. The article also surfaces takeaways from the September 18th, 2025 Data Forward podcast featuring Fusable Chief Data Officer Matthew Cox and Acceldata Chief Product Officer Ramon Chen, including observability, lineage, security, and quality at the point of data creation for AI readiness.
The Future of Business Intelligence Is Integrated
In today’s business landscape, data is no longer optional. It’s essential infrastructure. Whether you are driving growth, streamlining operations, or managing risk, the quality of your decisions depends on the quality of your data and how easily your teams can act on it.
But for too many organizations, there’s a widening gap between the promise of data and the reality of how it’s used. Despite having access to more data than ever before, teams often struggle to turn that data into impact. Why? Because the systems we rely on were not built for the speed, flexibility, and connectivity modern business demands.
The Problem Is Not a Lack of Data. It’s Disconnection.
In most organizations, data lives in silos. Sales tools don’t talk to marketing platforms. Research teams build reports in one system, while account teams prospect in another. And even when good data is available, it’s often locked behind legacy interfaces or difficult to access without manual workarounds.
"One of the challenges in our industry is fragmented ecosystems and data silos."
Matthew Cox, Chief Data Officer at Fusable
This fragmentation slows everything down. Teams waste time toggling between systems, manually updating spreadsheets, or trying to reconcile different versions of the truth. Decisions get delayed. Opportunities get missed.
What’s worse, these inefficiencies grow with your business. The more teams you add and the more tools you implement, the more the seams begin to show. For companies that rely on precision and speed, such as those in equipment manufacturing, distribution, finance, and insurance, those seams become risk factors.
A Shift in Expectations
Today’s business leaders expect more from their data. They want insights that are timely, trustworthy, and directly integrated into the tools they use every day. They want fewer systems to manage, but more value from each one. They want the right data in the right place at the right time.
In short, they want intelligence that informs, not just raw information.
At Fusable, we’ve spent the last year listening carefully to our clients. And what we heard was clear: it’s no longer enough to provide great data. We have to deliver it in smarter, more integrated ways that align with how our clients actually work.
“The more you package up insights rather than supplying raw data… you’re delivering value immediately and not just the raw goods.”
Matthew Cox, Chief Data Officer at Fusable
The Foundation: Fusable Data Core
Meeting that challenge required a fundamental transformation.
We began by rebuilding our internal data architecture from the ground up, consolidating data from across our legacy products, including CAB, EDA, Iron Solutions, and Price Digests, into a centralized, unified database and insight engine we now call the Fusable Data Core.
This was not just a technical upgrade. It was a strategic rethinking of how we organize, validate, and deliver our intelligence across products. With this new foundation, we can provide consistent, high-quality data across multiple delivery formats. More importantly, we can respond faster to client needs, build new solutions more efficiently, and unlock new types of analysis that were not previously possible.

To unpack the strategy around adding value through integration, our Chief Data Officer, Matthew Cox, joined Ramon Chen, Chief Product Officer at Acceldata, on Sept 18th episode of the Data Forward podcast. They explore how observability and governance underpin AI readiness, and why integration at the core is the only scalable path forward.

Three Products, One Unified Vision
With the Data Core in place, we were able to launch three new ways for clients to access and act on Fusable prospecting insights:
The Fusable Platform is a new web-based prospecting experience that helps teams find, filter, and act on prospecting insights, all from one modern interface. It’s designed for speed, clarity, and flexibility, with no integrations required.
The Fusable Salesforce App brings verified company intelligence directly into Salesforce. Users can search records, build lists, and enrich leads without ever leaving their CRM.
The Fusable API offers real-time access to our data for clients who want to integrate it into their own internal systems, dashboards, applications, or marketing automation tools.
Each of these products is tailored to a different type of workflow and designed around specific needs outlined by our clients. Together, they reflect our broader vision: giving customers full control over how they access and use our insights, whether they prefer a standalone web-based tool, a pre-built CRM app, or a custom API integration.
“I want our data, Fusable data, literally at the moment you’re trying to make the decision.”
Matthew Cox, Chief Data Officer at Fusable
What Comes Next
The launch of these three new products is a huge milestone, but it’s only the beginning. We’re already developing additional datasets, building out new functionality, and working closely with our clients to co-create what comes next. Our long-term vision is clear: to be the most integrated and intelligent data partner for the industries we serve.
“The future lies in those who can actually connect those fragmented systems at scale."
Matthew Cox, Chief Data Officer at Fusable
A New Era of Data Delivery
If your teams are still navigating a disconnected data environment or struggling to turn prospecting insights into action that drive results, it might be time to rethink what’s possible and give these new products a shot.
The future of business intelligence is not about adding more tools or gathering more data. It’s about ensuring that the right data is in the right place at the right time so your entire team can make confident fact-based decisions that drive sales and expand opportunities.
At Fusable, we’re building that future. And we invite you to be part of it.
