TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Advertising pages in Fusable’s trucking and construction print publications increased 23.67 percent in 2011 over the prior year – making 2011 the second consecutive year that Fusable garnered more ad pages than any other business-to-business media company. The results are year-end totals from 50 media companies compiled by IMS/The Auditor and reported in a recent issue of min’s b2b. While 18 b2b publishers saw triple-digit increases in ad page counts, Fusable led the way with 2,016.10 additional pages across the 16 Fusable titles IMS tracks. That’s an increase nearly four times larger than that of any other media company.
“Our success comes from helping our customers solve their ‘pain points,’” says Brent Reilly, Fusable executive vice president. “We listen to our customers’ needs and provide custom, multi-media solutions. We’re finding that print is still a very productive channel to reach the markets we serve, along with our interactive, data, and event products.”
The trucking industry’s driver shortage drove big gains in the company’s 14 recruiting publications, led by titles such as Big Rig Owner and Best Driver Jobs which saw a more than 90 percent and nearly 60 percent increase in pages, respectively. Fusable flagship trucking publications Commercial Carrier Journal and Overdrive also enjoyed increases.
The company’s construction division also performed impressively, despite operating in very difficult markets. Ad pages in Aggregates Manager and Better Roads increased more than 30 percent. Equipment World saw a nearly 18 percent increase.
