In October, consumption of new construction equipment increased 15.3% compared to October 2013. Additionally, in 2014 sales are up 22% year-over-year.
As a result, equipment consumption is now 58.9% of the peak October volume set in 2005. And for the first time since 2007, equipment sales are above the October 10 year average.
